Some bullets I have known....

I have always used Swift A-Frames and never felt the need to experiment with any other bullet. These are the only ones I have ever recovered and they were from 5 Bull Moose taken at over 300 yards. Anything closer has always been a through and through. The last bullet with minimal deformation was from a 457 yard shot so it had lost considerable velocity. As Dogleg mentioned, these A-Frames always seem to look the same.....still worth searching for and I always smile when I find a prize keeper.

Here's a 140 gr etip from this year's moose. Fired from a 7mm rm at 3200fps. Moose was broadside about 150 yards away. I was actually surprised I didn't get a pass through especially since it didn't hit heavy bone. Just 2 ribs. No meat damage and the bull made it about 4 steps so I guess I can't complain about it's performance.
