Got a few hides back from being tanned. A buddy shot the mostly black one, would have made a nice mount, not all black, but the hair on the sides is silver... Different colors from sw ontario

My cousin arranges it every year 10-20 hides guys want done, fox, coyote, mink, wolves etc. it's a commercial place in Quebec, they do a great job. I can find out the name of the place but they are just being bought out I guess. Requires export permits to ship out of province, but saves a lot splitting shipping with more guys. They do a great job, the hide is almost Snow White on the inside

That's pretty cool ... I wouldn't mind getting the name of the place if you don't mind (My Mother lives in Quebec).

They look really good too ... I never saw a Coyote that dark before.

Nice pelts, you're gonna love the new amendments made in regards to sending pelts to another province.

Effective July 1, 2013:

- Ontario residents will no longer need a permit to export a big game carcass (aside from any CITES requirements that apply)
- You'll no longer need a license to send pelts to a tanner
- Any licensed hunter will be allowed to kill animals to protect property as an agent of the property owner, without MNR authoritzation, not including hoofed animals or specially protected species (until now this could only be done by the property owner themself or by an authorized agent)
- Licenses will no longer be needed to buy and sell game hides and sheds, though record keeping requirements will apply
- MNR approval will no longer be needed to hold a charitable fish and game dinner, though record keeping requirements will continue
- Municipalities will no longer need MNR approval to hire hunters or trappers to deal with nuisance furbearing animals
- If you acquire a big game, raptor or furbearer carcass (eg. a roadkill or a nuisance bear) and want to keep it, you can just register it online, rather than applying for a certificate from the MNR district office

Effective January 1, 2014:

- There will no longer be a Resident License to Hunt Raccoon at Night. Any resident with a small game license will be allowed to hunt raccoons at night, but you'll still need a licensed dog and a .22
- There will no longer be a License to Chase Raccoon at Night or Fox, Coyote or Wolf during the Day. Anyone with a small game license will be allowed to chase those animals unarmed outside their hunting season.
