To begin- I originally asked this in the GFD, but with no avail, so I turn to you guys, because its where I think it fits, correct if wrong. (Which is actually the first question)

1) Is the CSA Vz.58 Sporter Compact 7.5" considered a red or black firearm? More like maroon?

2) What are your thoughts on the CSA Vz.58 Sporter Compact 7.5"? Good, bad, excellent?

3)Would the CSA .223 Rem AR Mag adapter work on this Vz.58?

thanks.

I would say it is still a red rifle,
2 i love the compact. it is a blast to shoot. always comes to the range with me. reliable, i have had 0 issuse with it. decent accuracy with milsurp ammo at 50-100y.
3) cant anwser that as all my cz/csa rifles are 762x39

While I cannot confirm from first hand knowledge, all indications are that the AR mag adapter can be used in both .223 AND 7.62x39 rifles. This will allow one to use the LAR-15 or XCR pistol mags in the caliber of their choice in their respective rifles. This information comes from the many threads that cover the various adapters out there from both dealers and consumers.

Since you are interested in the compact version, there shouldn't be a requirement for machining to fit the adapter and for the rifle to function properly as all of the compact VZ-58 are of new product.

the way CGN categorize modern military rifles are such.

if the rifle was intro during communist rule then its a red rifle (RR) and if the rifle was intro they were nolonger communist such as cz805 then its a black rifle .
