I was directed to a youtube video in which a top-of-the-line .22LR match ammo, RWS R50, was disassembled and the components weighed and measured. I don't disassemble ammo for purposes of comparison, so this is only informational and may or may not be useful to those who do.
Although some of the methodology may be questionable, the results produced may be of interest to those who may be considering sorting ammo by different means, including overall weight, overall length, casing diameter, or bullet diameter. The other measurements obtained required the destruction of the round itself.
