Are they the Dreaded Mitchell’s Mausers with Cheap Repro Chinese Scopes?
Look at the metal finish, color of blueing and wood finish.

I would assume they are the Mitchell Mauser type of thing. However, if a buyer approaches it with the fact you will have a nice shooter to enjoy and ignore the fact it won't be a collectors piece per se, well, why not. A good condition rifle that is similar to the period rifles? Why not? Take the rifle to the range and enjoy it. Not everything needs to be in a dark box collecting dust. Enjoy your things while you are above ground.

I agree. However, they will likely go sky high.

The first rifle has the following description: "The wood has just a few light dents and scratches. The bluing is turning grey. The bore is excellent. The serial numbers match on the receiver, bolt, floor plate and stock. This gun is an original WWII German Steyr BNZ 43 Model 98. The gun has the original cleaning rod."

The middle "Mitchell-looking" Mauser is identified on the auction site as an "K-98k s/42 Rifle". Bidding is at $1000.....13 days from auction.

Those Fake Repro Chinese Scopes and Mounts on the K98’s are total crap.
Sarco was selling them in different grades, $100, $150 and $200.
The cheap $100 had internal parts in the scope optics falling off!
For $150 it was a wee bit better! Missing parts, screws, etc!
For $200 it was top of the Heap on Sh/t Mountain for Chinese made junk.
After a 5 shot clip I heard scope would not zero! Oh well!
Buyer Beware!

I had a look at the rifles on the auction website. the top one is definitely a Yugo refurb you can tell by the serial number moved to the right side of the receiver ring and serial number on the bolt.
the other two also show signs of being reworked. perfect bluing sanded stocks.
