What a ridiculous variant. Although, I suppose if they REALLY improved the fit and finish, you might have something worth putting a scope like that on.

Well it does say that the trigger is modified, and the the barrel is obviously not milspec.

It might shoot okay. But I get the feeling you would get some looks at the range with it and not for the right reasons.

I found this and I think it fits the criteria of interesting or unusual
Restricted (as per barrel length), chrome-lined, detachable mag, bayo lug not machined, decent stock.

Its just an SKS Paratrooper 16" barreled carbine with an SKS-M stock on it. Can find them occasionally in the US. Not sure why Dlask would stamp it as being made in Canada when it is very obviously a Norinco.

Apparently, there were some detachable mag SKSs made/modified in the US. Not many but some. Those would very likely be collectable.

Well I would suppose the hunting guys would look at it as an ugly sks dressed up as a hunting rifle and the sks guys would look at it as a sks dressed up as a ugly hunting rifle.
