Some important reminders that you should be made aware of:

  • Sign in for the nationals will occur on Wed, July 28th at the Hotel Royale Ramada, located at 19267 Lougheed Highway (the match hotel) from 12pm - 7pm
  • The range will be open for previewing of the stages on Wed, July 28th from 9am - 3pm ONLY
  • The Pitt Meadows areas currently has Higher Fire Danger Rating due to the recent dry weather we have been having. As much of the range uses wood chips for range surface, our fire hazard is especially high. Smoking will only be allowed within designated areas

Not that I am aware of, but you shouldn't come in a pair of faded cutoffs and a tank top, either (although I'd make exceptions for a few people...)

Guys, it is our NATIONALS! I don't think it is to much to ask that you take the time to have a shower, clean up and come out in something better then range clothes. a pair of slacks and a nice shirt is appropriate.

Oh, I just received a phone call from a friend from back east asking about range conditions and I thought maybe everyone else would like to know as well...

The ground is basically woodchips/shavings. It packs well, but gets dusty when dry. Cleats would be appropriate footwear. There is no sand, gravel or hard packed dirt, it's more like soft packed dirt.

Ok, so I'm UNPACKING my loafers then.

I highly recommend bare feet up there. Very comfy ground to run around with nothing on. your feet, that is.

Ah, just think of the weight I'll save.
Ok, so we're all going hillbilly! Yee-haw!

C-U Wednesday Rob. I have a part for you don't forget, because I likely will.

So anyone have an extra hex head grip screw for a Shadow. Somehow I lost one tonight. Sigh
I did however find the 6 missing Lapua brass I have been looking for.
Please note, hex head not the normal screws the Shadow rubber grips come with.
