some long shot action

I hear he can do it with Irons, shooting it over his shoulder with a mirror:D

I can only do it with a really really big mirror.

Was using a NF 5.5-22 and as Rick already stated the small one was 8 inches. Worked really nice for the 308, then glock had to shoot it with the 338......lets just say it left a mark.

We're going to have to take pics of the steel 3/8 plate the 338s were drilling holes through at that distance. Even though the wind was up, it just made it that much more interesting.

That is very impressive shooting.

I was out today with my .308 SPS Varmint /w Elite 4200 6-24x40 S.F. shooting a 10 inch gong at 400 yards and I was pretty proud hehe. Its my first centerfire and I've had it and been handloading for just under 5 months. Ranged it with my reticle and hit it with the second shot, with about 2.5 minutes of wind (it was blowing pretty good). That made me smile big time, my first couple trips to shoot longer than our gun range goes (200 yds) yeilded a couple hits, but definitely not as consistant as today (~75% hits).

Anyways, just excited and felt like sharing today's shooting accomplishments. Hopefully someday I'll be shooting 8 inch pieces of steel at over 1000 yards, but I've got a LOT of learning to do before then hehe, and probably a better rifle to buy too haha. :sniper:

SO anyone care to guess which rifle made that shot?
Glock and C4 you can't guess
