Ive been very lucky/happy with norinco, it started out with a 1911 I bought from Marstar and sent in to Armco for some fine tuning and it turned out amazing so when I ran into the CQ M4 I thought why not try one and so far I'm extremely glad I did. I have a good friend I routinely shoot with that would of had absolutely no interest in a chi-com rifle however after seeing mine he decided to pick one up as well, needless to say he has not had the same experience as myself the rifle he reciever was all scratched up and the fit between the upper and lower was ridiculously bad so I encouraged him to send it back for a different one. After a bit of a run around he received a replacement today and its worse than the previous one
At the range today his rifle performed like crap as well with a ton of FTF's I guess the advantage of spending more coin on a more established rifle is sometimes worth it with the consistency / quality control from one rifle to the next.
