Some Saiga conversion pron from NZ

first off, this isnt mine. a fella on one of my NZ forums made it as a winter project.
The long barrel is so it complies with out OAL regs ( less than 20mm away from our limit of 762mm )

and while ugly as sin, it has a certain ###yness to it.. not unlike Westicle

I read "NZ pr0n" and figured it must be something involving sheep, so this isn't as ugly as I'd originally imagined. Except for the bastardized Magpul AFG. Chris Costa would cringe if he could see that...

So enlighten us on NZ firearms laws. What's the 762mm "overall limit" and how does it apply there?

a long arm has to be 762mm or longer, otherwise it gets classed as a pistol and therefore is only usable at a range and requires all the rigmarole that goes with owning pistols in NZ ( including a totally separate license )

with our E-category license ( RPAL for you ) we can have normal capacity mags, not neutered 5 rounders ( our limit is actually 7 rounds on A-category [ PAL ] )

Suppressors are good to go on any license.

Full auto is a funny one.. with our C-category ( collectors ) you can own full auto firearms and machineguns .. but you arent allowed to shoot them ( go figure )

I like that idea: RPAL = normal capacity magazines (no neutering!), integrated ATT, no shooting restrictions and suppressors.

Full auto sounds like our version of "prohibited" (you can look but no touchee).
