Some SKS questions?

Since the more I read from this forum the more I become addicted I have just ordered a Russian SKS yesterday and still waiting for its arrival:D

However, back to my original complain (the addiction);) I am thinking of getting a Norc SKS just for bubba'n (learn from you guys here) and preserve the Russian friend.

Now, my question is are those Norc SKS listed for under $200 brand new or refurbished?

Seems like it John (Marstar) has the best price on them anybody knows if they will carry them again?

If I want to get a Chinese one now where's the cheapest place to get one?

I don't think you'll find many Norincos for under $200 anymore. Unless a new shipment comes in. Marstar has been out of them for awhile. The Norincos are hit and miss for being brand new or not.
 
Chinese SKS

Marstar hasn't had any in a long time and I don't think anyone else has any either. Your best bet is the equipment exchange on this site.

I would have gladly sold you mine, but all this Russian SKS buzz got me looking at my old, crappy-looking Chinese gun in a new light.

The wood is poor quality, but ALL the numbers match, the barrel is chrome-lined and the machining is just as good as the Russian Tula 1954 that arrived a couple of weeks ago. I refinished the stock with Minwax Red Mahogany stain and a few coats of tung oil and think it is prettier than the Rusky! I may even post a few pics if anyone is interested.
