If your going to do that then why not put on of the old style brass tube scopes built as long as the barrel lenght.

Likely put together to conform with bp regulations in some state where in-lines are not permitted. Still a pretty effective 150 yard rifle regardless of the source of ignition. TC's Black Mountain Magnum handled 150 grain loads and with a scope was darned effective to 200 yards. A long way from pretty or traditional but conformed to the law and was very deadly.

Actually, its for sale at a shop in Ontario, which shouldn't surprise anyone.

BTW I think most of the states that don't permit inlines, also don't allow optics.

Ya, not all though and it seems that states are constantly changing their regulations to keep up with technology. You need a program just to follow along.
