Some of you may remember my "Skoal" 303 shown below

I also did up my Cooey 39M 22LR... didn't do it up as sweet as my 303... went for more of a midnight blue colour. The blue makes blue grouse more deader

Then I picked up an old Lakefield Mark I for $300. So I figured I could make it look better and give it to my brother for his b-day/x-mas. First I drilled a huge hole in the stock to give it a little more horse power. Now one of my brother's favourite bands is Atreyu

So I based the Lakefield off of Dan Jacobs guitar

A few days later I came upon a Parker Hale 303 british. I thought it was ####ty... so I decided to give it to a buddy of mine for x-mas. Stock was in excellent shape. So I sanded it down and went to work. I put a black base coat on, then went with a metallic red on top. I left the checkering un-touched and made sure there was enough black to eliminate the checkering completely...

Can't bite my tongue on this one. If my father or grandfather witnessed such a "thing," back in the day you would be getting a free trip to the psychiatric wing.

Wow, everyone is speechless! Nice Work!!

I'd like to see a John Deere green and yellow mini14 if you're looking for more ideas! Or an orange Husky dressed up like a chainsaw!
