They look very nice however you may have wanted to omit the part about having built them for customers to avoid members thinking you are spamming. I like the look of third one best, how does poplar sound? Seems like a very different choice of wood? Or is it the walnut giving it the sound and poplar is just decorative?
 
Thanks. Wasn't my intention to spam. Poplar is a really good choice for box calls. It's an exceptional tone wood. Very easy to tune. Generally you need a contrast of hard/soft(er) woods to get the proper friction. The easiest combination is butternut/walnut, but butternut is now illegal to cut, because of the blight. The pattern on the side "loosens" them up allowing them to flex more without thinning the walls, and the pattern on the lid is basically just window dressing.
