last year I got some footage from our layout boat and finally edited it and made a short video. not bad for shooting and videoing although it is hard to get the kills LOL

 
Nice work. Mostly eiders, or coots and oldsqaws mixed in? Hard to see from the vid. Where in NS you based?

I work on the Bay of Fundy (just below Saint John, NB) and see these guys all the time, flying around. We pass shoot 'em around here, but we always talk about building layout boats.
 
Mostly eiders and scooters with some olsquaw mixed in. I hunt southwestern shore 45 mins from Yarmouth. The camera is sony handi cam I think it's suspose to be HD quality. I would love go pro to add different angles of filming and to edit in clips. Really looking forward to videoing more of our hunts

I had a friend who hunted there a cpl years ago when he was diving there. He said the coot hunting was awesome.
 
when you get the weather and they are tolling good there is nothing like it IMO the problem is we have had some pile of crap for weather this fall. looking to get some footage next day out
 
id love to but its soo hard to plan do to weather maybe next year ill be set up better to get to a few more areas I use to hunt. I have no boat trailer now so limited on areas
