I'm the kind of guy that just likes shooting paper, I like loading ammo and trying different combinations until I get tiny little groups. Never had any notions at all of buying any of the binary targets even though we have a few hundreds acres of land that it could be used on. What ever sale you had last year (Black Friday maybe?) where you included 1lb of kaboom with purchase was nice....but it sat on my gun safe until this weekend when I figured may as well try it out. My brother and I were sighting in some rifles and we were betting on whether we would be impressed or just meh on the binary target. I mixed it up, wrapped it up nice and tight in duct tape, and set it up at 100m. We were both kind of meh with expectations, shooting magnums and thinking really....how loud is this stuff going to be compared to that? Completely unprepared for the kaboom that followed....we have a mountain for a backstop so it amplified it massively as well.
We pissed ourselves laughing for about 15 minutes...the thud of that stuff was amazing, we immediately felt like we did something wrong lol. Like holy #### that was bad....lol.
Needless to say, I'm a convert now, and placed an order for some more of that ####...good marketing move, give that guy a raise!
I'll try and post a video but it doesn't do it justice, doesn't capture the noise well at all.
