"DonP" on CGN has built one of these. He has a 300WSM with a 16 twist 30" straight blank barrel and an SSG "Vaporizer" brake shooting NBT's in excess of 4000 fps. That brake gives it the recoil of a 223 - no kidding.
It is utterly specTACULAR on gophers out to 800M and beyond, and when we took it to the 300M range, he had no trouble keeping it within a .5MOA V-Bull.
