Somerset Enfield Sporter anybody heard of them?

I inherited a Somerset Enfield and all the markings have been machined off . I can't seem to post pics to determine what model of Enfield it was originally

If anyone can tell me how to post them it would be great

Probably one of the thousands sported in England.
Is the receiver rounded or flat sided? What kind of sights does it have?

Nicely sported No.4. The receiver ring is drilled and tapped for a Parker Hale scope base. The rear mount would have been a unit that was installed where the original rear sight was.

Thanks as I would like to hang a scope on it Any Idea where I could find that set up?

They don't make them anymore. Post WTB in the EE and trawl gun shows.

Nice looking #4. You could put a little L peep sight on it and have an excellent sight system. I use a similar rifle as my back up and heavy rain/snow rifle.
