Something Pretty Cool

I have been looking at a Sig 226 MK25 for some time and had difficulty finding one in stock. I am hesitant to put 25% down with no delivery estimate or guarantee of any kind.

I was looking for something kinda special. My wife and I are planing on starting a family in the near future and I wanted to buy a pistol around the birth and present it to him/her when they are legally old enough as a nice gift. I intend on keeping it in all protective oils and wrappings.

So today I was up doing my normal routine and check Questars "new" arrivals section and I couldn't believe my eyes. Sig MK25 with 1 in stock. So I pulled the trigger and purchased it.

I guess it's the right time to start a family lol

Anyone else do something similar?

. . . . . If you manage to keep that thing in the original packaging for longer than a few weeks I would be VERY impressed. At least even if you do shoot it, it'll last you until the kid can own it. Congrats on the new gun
