so that's how it feels like eh:rolleyes:
enjoying much of it as my first step into the world of SG's.
occasionally the m4 does not seem to cycle properly on low recoil management stuff, other than that, it is a blast!

congrats...my favourite gun...i love mine :)

I have not had any problems with low recoil stuff...even shot 50% recoil ammo...it cycles slowly with that ammo though...

looks bad ass with ACOG too :)

It is relevant to your stock position. Eotech works nicely with the stock fully retracted or extended to mid way(which i find most comfortable for majority). However full extension of the stock will make use of any scope sit rather high. Unless you have an elongated face with cheek to eye a mile apart;)
of course, full stock extension and iron sights works no problem.

That's beacuse you have too much junk in the trunk. :p

Because of the inertia cycling these guns, they don't like the added weight of accessories strapped to them.
If you butt your shotgun against a solid mass and pull the trigger, it won't even cycle full house loads. Needs rear movement to cycle reliably.

... and referring to your last comment, why would length of pull be a concern with POA-POI using an EOtech? Lots of field of view there.
 
That applies more to the M1 and M3 which are recoil spring operated..the M4 has gas pistons (the ARGO system)...

Ahhh, yes, yes, M4. I hear the name Benelli and automatically think inertia.

jun, I understood what you meant. I was saying that it isn't as critical with an EOtech because of a such a large window (field of view). A minor amount of shoulder adjustment/positioning is enough to compensate for sight picture between a fully extended and collapsed stock.
