Somewhere to Shoot in the Waterloo/Guelph Area

Hi Everyone,

Recently started working in the guelph area and I'm looking for somewhere to shoot within an hour driver so Waterloo/Guelph/Cambridge. Would like to do some target shooting or maybe some trap/skeet if there is a reasonably priced range. Any help you could give me would be great.

Easiest option is shooterschoice in waterloo. Become a member for about $350 and get 24/7 access to range. Its a small range but good and nice folks. No silly safety course, you just need to shoot something like 10 hours then have an employee watch you load and fire a few rounds to ensure you are a safe shooter.

Forgot to add you can just walk in and pay to shoot, its less than $10 for a hour. You can use your own ammo as long as its not steel cored. There are magnets at each shooting port to allow you to test your ammo.

IF you have a restricted you need to call the day before to arrange some paperwork, do NOT just show up with your restricted.

Try ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, GRGC.CA ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Yes there is a silly safety course & a 12 month probation . We take safety very seriously .
Now there is 7 outdoor ranges & 1 Indoor Range. Another Indoor Range is presently under construction . That will make 9 in total
when finished . Membership is presently open , but expect it to be full very soon .

I've been there and the range is just too small for me. I agree its a great place to go and shoot but for $350 a year I would like at least a 50 yard range. If I want to just go and shoot, I'll just pay the $10 fee for one time use. Thanks for your response though!

We Have Trap and Skeet Ranges, 25 and 100 Yard Ranges, An Archery Range as well as Indoor and Outdoor Horseshoe Pits, 3 Baseball Diamonds, a Large Hall for Events, a smaller Meeting Room and a Telescope Pad.
