so my csa vz in 5.56 has been with movie arms for about 6months now... waiting on parts for repair...

is anyone else experiencing long wait times on parts/repairs for their vz?

is this normal for the gun? or is it just the warranty company?

should I be worried?

That is awful. Have you been checking up on it with them or leaving them be? My one warranty experience on a firearm was a barrel link failure on an Armco tuned Norc 1911. It was turned around in 2 days by Gunnar with no questions asked. It did cost me shipping one way, though, but that wasn't terrible considering the speed of the service.

I have a new way to look at things to avoid frustration due to wait times ;

If its long its normal, if its fast its a pleasant surprise.

I sent mine in on Nov 5th. Mine was sent back (supposedly) yesterday.

talked with the fellow today, he confirmed the reason it was taking so long, was due to the bad headspace in the receiver, and the addtional problems they found with it (something with the bolt was why it's firing pin had broken earlier too)

so its taking so long, because they are replacing it with a completely new rilfe, en route from europe,

so thats not terrible news i guess, aside from the wait.
