SOPMOD M4(AR-15) vs. SOPMOD M14

This is probably a repost, but which normally costs more? Which is potentially more accurate? Does a SOPMOD M14 require as much tuning as normal M14's? Is a SOPMOD like AR-15 available to the public?

As far as the SOPMOD goes, you're on your own. I have limited knowledge when it comes to the AR15 and M14 but from what I've seen on the Canadian market, the upgrades and aftermarket parts would be up to you.
Assuming these are the mods you're refering to, there are a few things that are obviously unavailable in Canada because they are illegal.

As far as price goes, it would depend on what rifles you choose to build on. I'm going to go ahead and assume the M14 would cost you more because that stock looks like it would cost $1000+ to get in Canada. My best advice would be to decide on the brand of AR/M14 you'd like to buy, findout who the dealer is and inquire about aftermarket parts through them. Hope this helps.

I have a AR,with the SIR,Magpul stock,(used to have a ACOG on it),vert grip,flip -ups........This cost me ALOT more than my SAGE with Tasco 10x40 mildot-with ARMS hardware.

IMO-I love the SAGE more,that's just me.I like the bigger round,and not being limited to the range everytime I want to shoot.As far as tuning-I haven't really noticed that much.
 
Thanks for the replies guys, it was quite helpful.
When I meant SOPMOD for the AR I more meant the kit without the illegal stuff, but I'm guessing that's going to cost an arm and a leg. As for the M14, the Mike Rock ones I saw I quite liked but they seemed quite expensive. I'm gonna have to do quite a bit more saving before I can spend this much :(.
