Normally I'm pretty good at getting prices right for selling stuff, but Leupolds model names and features and designations all look the same so I'm at a loss.

I have a 1.5-5 gloss Vari X III sitting on a guide gun I'm selling.

Has some minor finish wear on some sharp edges and a small ½" scratch at the ocular end..
Has flip up caps also.
I'd like to sell it today so will price it aggressively.

$275, $325, $375 ?

Yes I agree. Rare to find someone happy enough to pay top dollar for both pieces of a rifle scope combo. Lots of choices and opinions.

Keep in mind that the Vari X 3 is the older version with older lens coating technology. Last one I bought was $225 and that was a VX3 fresh back from a refurbished at Korth. Granted, that was a ridiculous steal, and it was a few years ago, but it is what it is.

I have a huge soft spot for the 1.5-5x Vari X III and VX3. I think it would be a steal at $350, but if you post it for $450 it might take a while to sell even though it's an entirely fair price.

Either way, I would split it up and sell separately, for the reason you posted above.

Because it's the older version and of the wear, I'd say just over $300. No more than $350.

Yes as a package deal on the rifle I would say a fair price would be $350 - $400 as it includes rings and bases
