SOS byf45 walnut

It's always good to see not only me throwing money on the wind... Very reassuring. Nice lineup, how many are missing there to call it complete?

Well I suppose it will never really be "complete" but my goal of having every letter block of byf44 is very close. I need a,d,f,g, and n. There are a few other variations I need like an early k block number pattern and early hand stamp number pattern as well. I have both blocks in the late patterns so I would say I'm half done those two blocks.

There are also quite a few late war variations I need like a "c" stock and semi-KM stock.

Really when you get into all the small variations and details, there are a hundred more I need. lol

Nice rifle and nice pictures!

I didn't really get a chance to look closely at this one while at SOS.

It was amazing how much stuff was there.

Thanks Steve.

Yeah, I really didn't get to check it out and handle it as much as I would have liked either. Bruce whisked it away right after the show that day and off it went.

I know the feeling. Only difference is that I wasn't even sober when I bought mine so my memory of the rifle was hazy which made the wait even worse!

JB that is a great rifle. Congrats!

My Yugo refurb will still look better to my wife than that one, but then yours is for the discerning connoisseur, mine for the after-shave drinking fool.;)

As to your group photo I am amazed.:sok2

It's very interesting to see how less time was spent on fit and finish on the late war specimens. I have my dad's K98 that was built late '41, early '42, and the difference is very noticeable.

nice one , good luck getting the other 44s , if you come a cross any 44L blocks you don’t need keep me in mind.

I'll be posting up another L block here eventually that you'll like gaff. I would gladly own every L block in the world but finances won't allow that.:p

I'll keep my eyes open.

Great looking rifle and collection, some day would like to go check out some of the shows down in the states, ha but I have a hard enough time getting to them here. Really enjoyed the pictures
