Did you try Hummason's in Ancaster? They are a manufacturer. www.hummason.com
I dont cast but have some lead, i guess i can look into melting it down somehow cleaning it up and getting a mold(mould?).

If you get a lee buckshot mold you can make a lot of shot in a short amount of time. The lead exposure you would be getting regardless just by handling lead. Casting lead is no risk because you are not heating the lead anywhere near the point of it fuming.
You got to ask yourself do you shoot enough buckshot to make the cost of casting worth it? It is fun and rewarding hobby for sure.
I set myself up to cast buckshot for very cheap but have found I dont shoot enough to really worry about casting buck much.
You can buy 25 round boxes of s&b buckshot for cheap enough.
If you do decide to cast. An old cast iron pan, Coleman camping stove and an old stainless soup ladle can get you started.
You will want wheel weights at minimum and water drop them from the mold. Buckshot has to be very hard. Too soft and you will get horrible patterns.
