Greetings and Felicitations to Fellow Gun Nutz,

I just joined the site and I'm hoping to benefit from the wealth of knowledge you all possess in the area of sourcing reloading components. I recently inherited a Marlin 1894 chambered for .32 H&R Magnum and I am having difficulty locating ammo and reloading components. Please advise me if you know of a Canadian source of reloading components for this caliber - particularly brass and bullets.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Yes you can shoot 32 sw long, short and h&R mag even 32acp if you are so inclinded

I had a hard time finding 32HR for my rifle i built. There is next to no rilfes chambered in it and its prohib in pistols. So im not sure there is much in canada.

I eneded up relaoding for it

Rustywood has the brass and cast bullets. 32sw dies work to reload it. But you can get 32hr dies on ebay for about 50$ shipped

If you are new to reloading also, you might want to purchase dies specific to the 32 H&R mag cartridge because Lee also provides some load info for it...
Yes factory ammo is very hard to find, so reloading for this sweet little cartridge is the way to go!

Being that all .32 handguns are prohib, most dealers are not going to stock this ammo. Another thought is to cast your own bullets or find a caster in your local that is willing to make some for you. Most any mould that will make a 98-115 grain RNFP style bullet will cycle nicely in your gun.

Enjoy your Marlin, they are scarce as hens teeth.
Apparently the company only made about 600 total in about 2005/2006 I wouldn't think there are many here in Canada...

PS....You can also check with "Double Tap Sports" for brass. They are one of the sponsors at the top of this website...
