Source for .410 rifled slugs?

Before I got rid of my .410 about 3 years ago,I could not find them anywhere.Ended up sticking to factory loaded rifled slugs for it from the local Canadian Tire.

Unless you have a rifled bore or choke, rifled slugs aren't going to do that much anyway. I cast my own 12ga slugs using Lyman's foster type slug mould. Slugs dropped are smooth with no rifling. Out of any of my smooth bore tubes they are just as accurate, if not more so, than any rifled slugs I've shot out of the same tubes. However, the rifled slugs are generally more accurate when shot out of my rifled deer bbl or when I use a rifled choke tube.

If you want a .410 slug mould, contact Dan at MountainMolds.com He can cut a custom mould for you in iron, brass or aluminum to your specifications for a very reasonable price. The .410 shouldn't be any harder to cut than a standard large bore rifle mould, unlike larger 12 and 20 bore slug mould designs.
