In the states you can get brand new M2 .50bmg barrels for 300$ bucks a pop, but they cant be exported. Is there a source for these in Canada? If not, then what's a good place to buy a modern .50bmg barrel from?
Thanks!

We cut up about 30 20mm CF18 barrels with a plasma cutter a couple of months ago, unfortunately we have to for disposal. It's a pretty sad sight to see the barrels ending up in one foot chunks.:(

There are a number of gun builders in Canada who currently import and build custom .50 BMG rifles. There is a certain gunsmith in Alberta who shall not be named here that is turning out some really nice examples.

If you're only interested in mil-surp .50BMG barrels, as opposed to sporting/tactical .50BMG, bbls, your search may be a little more difficult. Might check with Marstar, IIRC, they had some .50BMG bbls they were going to use to re-barrel those 14.5mm Soviet anti-tank guns they brought in some years ago. They might still have some laying around.

Our web site is very out of date right now and a complete redo is in the works. We have Barnard GP actions for 50BMG and we are bringing in True Flite barrels both from NZ. We will have our new 50 stock in production this week which is based on our latest TAC stock. The GP action is very tight and precise, like all the Barnards.
