If I saw them for the same price I just paid for Partitions I would have considered it. They look like great bullets, but I haven't seen them in stock in a lot of places and I don't think I came across any in stock while searching over the last few days.
I do feel like the partition is a very good option for the 2850-2900fps I am after with a 140gr bullet in my 7mm-08 though.
the Partition is going to be one helluva bullet for the 7m08 ... for all the species to be fair. thats what they hail in .243s for most deer like creatures up to elk and sambar as being the Bar.
cant see it not bein the best weight wit hthat partition performance everybody knows about!
closer ranges its proberly going to be a bit too much on smaller deer, if there is such a thing ...but nitpicking here... but itsa bullet thats still gunna be good at 400meters on a larger Deer..
hindsight, those cup an cores in the 7mm-08 are a pretty sweet match even in lighter 140gr for majority of mid sized deers, stepping up into that 150gr i rekon is suitable for the Sambar and Elk persay.
in saying that the PT is a step above the AB imo, an the woodleigh is in overall performance, on par or slightly 'below' the AB in terms of its not as aerodynamic out there, an is often a bees dikc softer up closer with them textbook mushrooms.
did you try the imported which i cant remember off top of my head but some new dude took over woodleigh impot to canada, not al flahtery i dont think, maybe lloyd? maybe someone else.. ill look it up in the other thread i seen it in!
