Source for barrels for flintlock build?...

Hey all,

I've long had the desire for a light little Flintlock rifle (preferably in .36 as I'm already casting round balls for my revolver). Does anyone know of a source for ~36" long hex barrel blanks to build off of?

Just for clarification...there is no such thing a Hex barrel...they are Octagon.
Hexagon...six sided, Octagon eight sided.
Unless the barrel has been hexed by some shaman or witch doctor...in this case the gun will never shoot straight.
Do a search for Bauska barrels...Les Bauska is in his eighties though there may be blanks still available, or Green mountain barrels...both high quality.

The round balls for your revolver are around .375 and the rifle will most likely need .350 balls or so.

Track of the Wolf has green mountain barrels and ships to Canada. They also have pretty much anything else you might need for a flintlock build.

My mistake, I guess I never really looked that close but it does make sense as the barrel walls would be thicker with a higher number of flats...
