Hey folks,

Just wondering if anyone knows a source for replacement grips for the French Model 1892 revolver. Modern reproductions would probably be preferable, though a set of original grips would suffice too. Thanks for any help you can provide!

Their parts are pretty expensive, but only source I know:

Galeriedemars is the only source for grips i know of. Last time i checked they didn;t have any available, but that was 6-8 mos ago, maybe they got some in since then.

The French Firearms Board at Gunboards.com is the best place i found to ask questions about old French arms. http://forums.gunboards.com/forumdisplay.php?11-French-Firearms-Board
Some very knowledgeable collectors on that forum and very helpful. If you ask there somebody might be able to steer you to a set of grips.

You can also try Numrich, i have got some M1892 mechanical parts from them in the past, but they are from scrapped guns so they might not be in the best shape. http://www.e-gunparts.com/products_new.asp?CatID=9381 EDIT: I don't see grips on the list.
