Source for Kimber rifles?

If you find one in .257, let me know.I've had no luck so far.I see that the Remington CDL SF is chambered in .257 this year(24" bbl.).With Remington's new pricing it may cost more than the Kimber! Mur

You're right, the one I have already is a very good and consistant shooter, but those Kimbers ARE nice rifles.

.

I've never had one, but I know you have read all the threads on 24hr about the accuracy/headspace/feeding issues. For the $$ you are paying, it is a gamble, and we don't have the luxury of returning it to the factory like the Americans do.

Some of them have sent their rifles back to Kimber 2 and 3 times, and had barrels replaced twice. Up here, you'll be paying for that, after spending $1200 or more buying it.

Kimbers are the most talked about rifle there, but the split is only 50% good/ 50% bad experiences. Not very good...

You're right, best to hold off. If not for all the bad press, I would splurge on one for sure.

They do need to do something to restore their good name to the rifle line.

The advice I gave Arch applies to you too.:D

Epps has Sako 85's in .260 Rem for $1299.

Yah but a .338 Fed. isn't a .308 and a .260 Rem. isn't a .257 roberts this makes Archie sad :(. Might just play it safe and buy a ### Xbolt or a Model 70 S/S....
