Source for SKS stripper clips

Here's a quick question about stripper clips, how do they work with the mag-pinned at 5? Do you start with 10, and after you load 5, just load the next 5 the next time?

Yup. You just press down on the top cartridge until 5 have popped off into the magazine. When you can't press down anymore, that means the mag is full, then put the strip and 5 remaining cartridges aside for the next charging.

Slam in 5...shoot....slam in the rest...discard clip (or keep clip to sell to people who don't buy surplus!!!)

I keep my stripper clips to reload with other surplus ammo that doesn't come with clips. The russian stuff comes in little boxes and no stripper clips.

Walk around any gravel/sand pit and pick them up. Seriously, the pits are more stripper clip than sand at this point!:)

I've checked a few of the sponsoring sites and didn't find anyone who has 7.62x39 stripper clips. Where can I buy a few? 10 would be perfect.

you can message me, i can mail you some, i have a freaking ton of them, i don';t use them , let me know i had a box of czech surplus, so i took them all off the stripper clips and put them in a ammo can, i think i got like 85 ish stripper clips, let me know.

Alternatively you can cut the 10-round ones down to 5's and then squeeze the non-loading end shut to prevent rounds from falling out.

Makes every 10 round clip into 2 5 rounders.
