Hey,

I have a 2010 SX3 that is having the DuraTouch issue with the stock becoming sticky. I've contacted Winchester and they are going to fix the stock under warranty. But I've got it in my head now that the gun deserves a proper walnut stock.

Anyone know where I can source a wooden stock an fore grip for the SX3 in 3.5" ?

Shame that Browning and Winchester have issues with their Duratouch coating. My Gold 10 is ok for now but eventually it will happen. Look through used Browning or Winchester camo guns. You’ll notice many that have discoloured stocks compared to barrels and receivers. Brutal

As for your question, try Numrich or Boyds.

This is the part numbers for A walnut field sx3 3inch gun .Forearm U1117826EK 12ga 3" walnut field , Stock rear U1117774EK 12ga walnut field ,you might try contacting western gun parts . mind you the sx3 is a few years out of production and the recall is only for synthetic stocks so the walnut may be very hard to get or even non existent . hope the part numbers are of some help .

Appreciate it.

I've tried Winchester directly, no dice
Western Gun Parts said the same thing
Numerich in the States also told me no-go.

I've been scrollin' ebay and the EE here. I'm thinking I may have to buy a second shotgun with the walnut and swap stocks.

My particular gun was a gift for getting engaged and getting hired into my career after school. It has got significant sentimental value so I want it to look an feel as good as can be. I'm worried that the stock repair from Winchester is gunna leave me with a tupperware stock.

They say a x2 , gold and silver stock will fit with a little modification but I have no clue what that is
Just know the shims are all the same so it cannot be much different
Cheers
