sources for 8x56R and 7,5x55 Swiss?

In the absence of anybody wanting to import the whole PRVI PARTISAN line AND willing to pay the totally-ridiculous Fed Gummint "fees", all three seem to be handloading propositions in Canada.

That's the bad part.

The good part is that none of them are difficult to source componnts for. Lee Precision makes inexpensive die sets for all three. So do RCBS and their dies are nicer. They are also more money.

TRADE-EX (link at 10 o'clock from the world-famous CGN Beaver at top) stocks brass for all three, in nice big bags. They also stock the very special bullets for the 8x56R as sporting or military slugs.

The 7.5x55 can be loaded with any standard .30-cal components.

The 7.65 Argentine can be loaded with standard .303 components. If you are REALLY strapped for ca$h, you can FL size and then slightly stretch fired 7.62 NATO/.308Win brass for the Argy.

Handloaded ammo is about half the price of factory and generally it is more accurate if you are careful in your loading. Just don't throw away those empties: they can be used another dozen or so times if you are careful.

Have fun!

Oooooooooh: very nice.

Have to talk with my local dealer about that.

He'll listen to me, I know: I already owe him money, so he has a tendency to listen!

Somebody has gotta tell JP that he's a Good Guy.
