Sources for free-run turkeys

I think this might be the best forum.

My mother in law is looking for a place around Woodstock, Ontario to buy a free run turkey for thanksgiving.

She's looking for a 25 lb bird and willing to spend $50-$60.

If you know any turkey farmers....it would be greatly appreciated.

Get her to contact the local slaughter house, they would be able to source you a turkey.

Do you mean Free range turkeys ? I did some checking online and there is nothing that comes up down around Woodstock. Her best bet is to ether make a trip to here:

Only other thing to do is try through the phone book down here way with butchers and see who can get them in.

I just plan on getting a free-range turkey the day after thanksgiving...then celebrate the following week! ;o)
