thanks for the tip. Unfortunately, they are out of stock, only have the 332a Norinco Scorpio in stock.

North Sylva, the stocking distributor for Norinco is also out of stock, so I'm looking now for NOS (new old stock), or something used.
 
There were a couple on EE that were close to $400. I googled one in some canadian gun store a few weeks ago for over $300. I found a new old stock one for $220 at Marstar.
 
WTF?!?!?

These would go for $150 on sale on a semi regular basis only a couple or three years ago, $175 was the regular price when Cdn Tire had them.

The $400 unit has been listed for several months. It also comes with an awesome Boyd's stock that costs almost as much as the gun. So you have to like and value the look. Those stocks are also pretty heavy, raising the weight from 5lbs to something like 5.5 lbs plus (just a guess) without the scope. Not exactly lightweight. I'm looking for a quad gun, and the synthetic does that well, and nobody cries if you scratch it.

Btw, a year ago Canadian Tire sold them for $225 or so, and then put them on clearance for $185. I asked the sales staff at Canadian Tire at the time, and they were not fast sellers. Neither was the EM332a Scorpio. Perhaps because the counter staff was pushing Savages and Marlins when any interest was shown in Norincos (well they did that with me).
 
Currently, there is one at the Canadian Tire in Minden Ontario... won't be able to pursue that one. thanks for the tip, 22LRguy. Just a note for anyone on the lookout.
