Anyone know where to find one? I've been looking high and low for weeks now. I don't want to settle on the regular, non-take down model though I'm starting to think I may have to. Lot's of places have had them listed, no stock anywhere. That beautiful case hardened look with octagon barrel sure would be sweet.

You're talking about the Chiappa, right?

I had one a number of years ago, very sweet little gun, smooth action, easy take-down and re-assembly, accurate...honestly, I don't know why I sold it. 100% functioning.

A year or so later, I bought another Chiappa...different model...and had nothing but problems. Since then I've had a bit more experience with them, both with guns of my own and others owned by acquaintances. Based upon that experience, I would never buy another one. Quality control is very spotty. If you find one you want, at least try to handle it and examine it very carefully, perhaps run some snap caps through it to check function if you can't actually fire it.
