My apologies if this has already been gone over. I saw on Front Sight's web site that Obama won't allow South Korea's surplus lend/lease Garands back into the states. I think he wants them destroyed  Well I hope one of our Canadian milsurp dealers is all over this !!! Just like we can get Norinco and the Americans can't, maybe this'll go our way too ??

Please inform and enlighten.

You have a better chance of being knighted by the Queen than getting one of those rifles...

According to U.S. law, any firearm marked "U.S. PROPERTY" cannot legally be imported back into the U.S. even though it was manufactured there. One of the reasons you can buy a really nice 1911 U.S. military sidearm for considerably less in Canada than you would pay in the U.S.

All the current M1 owners say to keep them out. We don't want these SK import to flood the market and upset the soon to be $5k Garand price.

Cantom,

The Queen, Prince Phillip, Prince Charles etc. own lots of guns, REALLY NICE guns. Think Purdy, Westley Richards, Holland and Holland (drool, slobber) etc., the gun grabbing proclivities of their nation notwithstanding. So I don't think they would have a problem with gun ownership. And hey, who says I won't be knighted !?! I could invent something er, ah, or I could discover something, or....aww heck. I bet she has some really nice swords too :onCrack:

Mike Webb,
My point exactly, the US cant but maybe we can!

Too bad that the way the economy is going right now this bubble is going to burst.
