Southern Alberta reparkerizing/milsurp gunsmith?

Hey everyone. I've been trying to locate a gun Smith familiar with a m1 garand. As well someone capable of doing some parkerizing. The history of the rifle has been already damaged ( previous owner threaded barrel and new stock. So just want to get the metal in ship shape. I reside in medicine hat but can't seem to find anyone who does parkerizing.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.
 
For parkerizing, consider sending it to Vulcan. They are in Ontario, but they specialize in military surplus guns like the M1 and do manganese parkerizing. You can google them: Vulcan Gun Refinishing.

I've had them do several M1's, a good many M14's, a handful of 1903 Springfields and several M1 carbines - always turned out well.
