Hi All,

We are ready for another get together. It was fun last time and we have quite a few interested so we decided to go ahead and run another Party.

This is another opportunity for the people interested in bullet casting to get together, discuss bullet casting show your molds and cast some bullets. We will have a decent amount of melting pots available but you are more than welcome to bring your own as well. There will be a selection of Molds available for both rifle, pistol and shotgun already available and you are encouraged to bring your own to lend out as well. If you just want to come and meet the crowd you are more than welcome to do that as well.

This time we will also be doing some Reloading (Rifle, hand gun and shotgun) casting so if you are interested in learning how to Reload your own ammo this is your chance to come and see how its done and what is involved in Reloading your own ammo.

The plan is to meet at our available location on Friday July 25th around 1900 and we will go on for as long as we have lead or get tired and want to go home which ever come first :). This event will again be hosted locally in the Grimsby area. If you can make it please send me a PM and I will get the details out to you right away.

Hopefully there will be plenty of Timbits available again this time. But you will need to bring your own Timmies coffee.

We had a decent turnout for our first casting party and we hope to see as many of you as possible for this one.

Hmmm... I don't know if I'll be able to make it that day.
I've got a university event that I have to go to, and I don't know how much of the day that will take up.

How late would this conceivably run?

If I have time, and can swing the transportation, I would really like to see what you guys do.
Sounds like it'd be a pretty informative night.
 
X2. Wasn't able to make it out, Grimsby is a bit of a hike from where I am.

If you guys ever set up a meeting closer to Brantford, I would be up for that.
 
How about a cast bullet shoot in southern Ontario ? I will be organizing a cast bullet shoot at East. Elgin Sportsman Assoc. Aylmer ON. In September. Paper and steel targets, shooting off benches at 100 & 200 meters all welcome, small fee for non club members. May combine it with a black powder shooting at closer distance.
 
Depending on which weekend is chosen I'd like to do the cast bullet match thing. I've made the Blast Off shoot a couple times. Nice range. Good guys.

Sounds like a great idea I am sure we can get a few people out for that :).
 
Ok we have a date set for Sat Sept 20 for a cast bullet/black powder shoot at East Elgin Sportsman ASSOC. AYLMER ON. The focus of the cast bullet shoot will be best group size at 100 meters. You will be shooting from a bench using rests. Any type of rifle and any type of sighting system is good to go but CAST LEAD BULLET ONLY. We will supply targets which have a 6" bull. So bring your favourite loads, spotting scope front and rear rest and chrony if you have one. You can shoot more than one rifle. Have your rifles sighted in at 100 before hand will help move things along.
For the black powder shoot, Any black powder firearm flintlocks,percussion guns muskets, Sniders,Martini all good as long as black powder or BP substitute is used. Do not forget your BP. Hand gun. You Will be shooting off hand 25 to 80 meters.

There is a fee for non club members which I think is $10.00 but I will have to check on that one.
