Anybody into this in Southern Ontario? Trying to get into 3-gun and tactical shooting stuff and having a hard time making contacts here. A lot of guys in AB but not as a many here. Thanks!

Where in SO? There are matches in Guelph quite regularly and I think Oxford.

Edit: Sorry I meant Crumlin, but maybe Oxford too lol.

If the Covid-19 Protocols allow, Guelph starts it's 1st. of a monthly 3 Gun on May-22. Now only 5 on range allowed.

Having a hard time making contacts here in Ontario? What sort of things have you tried?
I have no idea how many AB guys are involved in 3gun and I know they have some great programs but if you live near Kitchener you have 4-5 clubs and several hundred guys and gals who regularly take part in multigun events within an hour of you.

Under normal circumstances; This forum would be filled with events for action shooting in Southern Ontario.
But right now it's basically against the law for anyone to host any matches.

If the government allows matches again; There will be lots for sure.

Also; If you do not have your IPSC Black Badge yet, you should start the process of getting it.
That will allow you to also shoot at IPSC sanctioned matches, instead of just being limited to the outlaw matches.

And there are a TON of sanctioned IPSC matches in Southern Ontario every year. (Handgun, PCC, Shotgun, and Rifle.)

pocisk: The osasf site is pretty sparse right now, due to Covid. A lot of clubs have yet to post their shooting dates...due to uncertainty with lockdown status. Normally a lot of these... even well into autumn, would already be listed. In normal times, it's pretty common to have the opportunity to attend a shoot, nearly every weekend. Year round. I hope to see that improve, soon.

If interested in cowboy action ....be sure to check back regularly. There are a lot of active cowboy action shooters in SW Ontario. Also, plenty of cowboy action folks on this forum, too.

True 3 gun tends to be pretty sparse given the pretty intense range regulations for rifle.

In any event, outside of IPSC, CGN is the pretty place to look for upcoming matches. COVID has kind of derailed that though.
