I used to get a kick out of how one of the Soviet naval officers I knew looked in his summer dress shirt/blouse. This was a pale yellow color and was worn over the trousers. This particular fellow obviously liked his rations and was quite obese. I always thought that he looked like Big Bird.
It's supposed to be dress uniform for parades but it's not an airforce, I think whoever sold it intended to make it to be a KGB ones like Kremlin guards are wearing. These blue things on the lapels of overcoat seems to be incorrectly mounted brass pins (should be on top I think). The jacket misses those blue things at all. They supposed to show what branch of army their owner belongs to.
That is what I think too.
Collar tabs, a.k.a gorgets are upside down.
Dress uniform is air force but missing collar tabs.
Greatcoat weights a ton.
People must be desperate for money over there, like they in in Germany in late WWII and after.
collar tabs on the greatcoat are incorrectly mounted - they are on top of a privates collar tabs (simple fabric squares, no brass trim) and are upside down to boot. The insignia on collar tabs is the army insignia not air force.
Also the shoulder epauletts are not airforce. They are army epaulettes. Airforce would be in similar pattern but instead of stars they would be in form of either wings or prop of the aircraft. So its not airforce insignia.
A lot of that stuff was sold to tourists in Berlin after the fall of the wall. Was it authentic or not? A lot of the current "Soviet" military product is newly made for that market.
