here is a pic of my new to me 9mm bergman spanish
carbine. i replaced the fireing pin spring with a 303
smelly spring and instaled a 1.5 to 4 bushnel banner scope. i have yet to try it out since the new fireing
pin spring. thanks to a fellow CGN, i will now get some
starline brass and start loading.

If it is the 93 type action 9mm Win mag brass can be used and use 38 super for loading data,I have an indepth artical in an older military surplus magazine. The auther used factory loaded 9mm Win mag factory cartridges and got .44 mag ballistics. Over 2000fps good enough for med sized game at 50 yards or so..............Harold *Colt 38 super mags can also be altered to fit....................

I picked one up this summer, had been rechambered for 9mm Para. Fun to shoot but doesn't always feed that well (short rounds in long mag, I guess) gonna have to whip up a batch of ammo with 147gr bullets loaded long or something.

BTW, buy the spare mags at Trade Ex. Less than $20 each, not worth the hassel of modifying others

if you want to make that gun feed 9 para, go get a 1911 9mm mag with the spacer in the rear of the mag. cut the slot in the rear of the mag for the catch, and presto, no more feed issues plus now you have a 8 or 10 round mag for the gun.

Hmmmmm.......dare I try it? Isn't mag modification a gateway activity towards full-on Bubbaism?

ive done quiet a few of them. and if you want a extended mag for the rifles still in 9 largo, use a 1911 38ACP os super mag. takes about 5 min with a small drillpress, and dremil tool.
