I have purchased a Spanish 12ga Side by Side, Boxlock in good shape. Armas Ego Eibar
Both barrels stamped 18.3, right barrel stamped closer to breech 18.6 and left barrel stamped 17.4.
My question is what chokes are these?

Thanks for that rembolt. I kinda had it figured but thought cylinder then full seemed a bit strange. This is my first Spanish double. Took it out clay shooting and did well. Can't wait for bird season

Agreed about the combo of chokes. With left barrel was dusting clays. I will pattern the gun on cardboard next time out to see exactly how it shoots

One tenth of a millimetre is approximately 0.004 inch of choke so 18.6 minus 17.4 is 0.048 inch of constriction or extra full and then some.
Two stars would be Improved modified, but I would expect the diameter to be marked by the proof house too. Nominal Improved Modified is likely between 0.024 and 0.032 constriction in 12 gauge, lets say 0.6 to 0.8 mm.
Congrats on your Spanish lady.

This SxS is not fancy. Has engraving but looks rudimentary. Shoots good, triggers seem good, no cracks in wood or steel. Only issue I have is when opened a little stiff at end. I only paid $150.00. Gave my Stoeger Uplander Supreme to my son last year. No regrets on that, but since missed shooting and hunting with SxS. For me the sight plain on both these guns is unmatched. Something nostalgic about hunting with one that I like. Happy with purchase.
