Hi,
I have a Spanish FR-7 rifle which is chambered in 7.62 x 51. There are not a lot of these around but they are based on the Spanish Mauser.
My issue is that the bolt striker does not #### back far enough to allow the safety to be engaged. The bolt catch does not look worn out.
Is it possible that the bolt assembly was not put back together properly or it has the wrong part?
I only got the rifle this year and it came to me with this problem.
Lastly, if I take the bolt out and #### it against an edge then I can manually engage the safety because the striker goes back enough.
I simply can't do that in the rifle so I am thinking that spacing of "something" is off.
