Just wondering if people find there to be a big advantage to using the 3x multiplier with Sparc over the 2x it comes with for shooting up to 300? If anyone has a picture looking through the sight with the 2x and 3x for comparison that would be great. Reading about it the 2x is screw in whereas the 3x can have the swing mount if using for CQB style shooting, again peoples opinions would be much appreciated. Thanks

I set one up for My buddy recently on his AR15.
He use to use the 2x, but now uses the swing 3x.
I've looked through it 2x and 3x, tried both and i'll take the swing mount over the screw in personally any day.
The swing is a 1 second move compared to the screwing in and out of the 2x.
Makes it very much worth the money.
I'd say go for it.

I do like the sound of the quick flick out of the way for CQB style shooting. Can anyone verify that the reticle at 3x is larger on the target (in ref to MOA)? I've read several conflicting stories. Ones that say the reticle is still 2 moa even with the magnifier, and ones that say it is larger. I have no experience with magnified RDS, so I'm not sure which one it is.

just playing with my strikefire and its 2x magnifier I find it helps a small degree and the dot seems to stay 4 moa while the background gets a bit crisper. Almost like it enhances background detail without making the dot any bigger. I havent tried the 3x so I cant comment on that, but it definetely does not make it an 8 moa dot. I find I can be a bit more precise at longer ranges with it
