Spares parts

Hi, it's true to tell that Marstar and Canada Ammo have goods deals and prices. But when you need a spare part like a front sight Norinco Police model 1911A1, they do,nt have. I bought one of these gun near 3 months ago and after 27 rounds the front sight post blew up. I phone them to have guaranty replacement sight and i receive this answer: try with Marstar and if they have'nt you will have to wait our order of spares parts from China who will arrive may be in January 2010 but they can fix a real date.Whow, that's we can say a GOOD PRE SERVICE on that they sell.
Marstar can help me but for it, They have to remove a sight on one of their guns and put it apart waiting a new sight because they have'nt spares parts too.
They call it an IRON CLAD graranty service. So i am stock.
You probably anderstand my frustation about THEM. If anyone can give me a place where i can buy a part to solve my problem, Your welcome.

Canam - I've been waiting at least 4 months now for that front sight. Any idea on when they may arrive now?
 
Mine blew off on the 5th shot of the first mag.....Can-Am did send me a new one but I've since bought better sights from Brownells.

Judes, send me a PM with your address and you can have the replacement Can-Am sent me.
 
On my Police model it looks like the dovetail slot was not to the same spec as the front sight... you can see where the sight gouged the metal when it was installed and likely the gouging pressure stressed the front sight causing it to sheer off flush with the top of the dovetail during the first shots made with the new pistol.
 
Wow... you get what you pay for people... I love the fun selection of cheaper firearms... but you really have to expect stuff like this and not get all crazy about it! Buy them all and enjoy them, but trust your life to a proven, quality tool.
 
Norinco, 1911 model.. it was my first gun, I figured if I could learn to shoot that well, the rest would be easy. I was right... I keep a S&W .40 M&P for safety though.
 
Same thing here 3 shots into first mag and site blew off however one call to Chris and was told send it back i did and had it back the very next week.that to me is looking after your customers. I have had some miscommunications during orders but them standing behind what they sell has never been a problem.
