Speaking of AR mag, how do you tag yours?

how and with what do you mark your mags to I.D.them that their yours and to sort out the trouble makers in the bunch?

Duct tape and a sharpie. Alternatively, get a silver metallic sharpie and number your mags right on the body. Works for my pistol mags.

Masking tape + Sharpie (byproduct of an IDPA match)

Don't forget to number them too, so when you have a problem mag, it's easy to troubleshoot.

I must be really old school. Got a metal punch set for the alphabet and numbers, literally stamp the metal with my name/ect or what have you.

Works great and cant be wiped off with varsol real quick.
